Did you know Columbus has  15  metro parks featuring gardens, bird watching, wetland parks, golf, and more. The park located closest to Catalina Club is Blacklick  Metro Park known for its nature preserve and has over 6 miles of walking, jogging, biking and roller blade trails.  Easy to find, take the Rt 256 exit off Rt 70 towards Columbus, turn right,  go 3 lights to Livingston Ave. , turn left and Blacklick is located on the left. Last year Columbus unveiled the new Huntington Park, home of the Columbus Clippers, minor league baseball team of the Cleveland Indians.   This awesome park is located in downtown Columbus, in the Arena District and is an easy 25 minute drive from Catalina Club.  Admission starts at $6 per adult, kids 12/under $3.  The park features pre-game music concerts, picnic areas with special food promotions such as Dog-a-Dime night, Buck-a-Bone night from City BBQ, and .50 cent Wing Nights from Roosters just to name a few.  Check out their website for all the details including schedules, parking and driving directions, click here, Columbus Clippers.  Opening Day is April 8th.
